2 cups sugar
2 cup oil
4 eggs
2 cups flour

2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp ground cloves
½ tsp salt
½ cup milk with 1 tsp juice

3 cups shredded carrots
½ cup hulled pumpkin seeds (“pepitoria”)
½ cup raisins, ½ cup sesame seeds

Mix in separate bowls the ingredients of the first and of the second group. Combine, add remaining ingredients. Grease a 9 x 13” pan and bake at 350° until cake separates from edge of pan. (Approx. 50 min.)

For frosting beat together 4 ounces of butter and 3 ounces of cream cheese, add 1 tsp vainilla and enough powdered sugar to make a stiff frosting. Decorate with choppe walnuts.
